Short form video and more efficient small business marketing

I am a big devotee of efficiency. I am constantly looking for ways to do tasks incrementally more efficiently.     

Short form video is a good example of what I am talking about. I can make a video on my mobile phone of 60 seconds or less.

Then I can post that piece of content on three different, powerful platforms: YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.

All from the one video which will have, by definition, taken less than 1 minute to make.  

Posting the content on the three platforms takes considerably longer than the time needed to make the video in the first place. But the return from those three social media platforms makes the time spent a good investment in my business.

Any time you can take one piece of content, which is the product of time and skill and thought, and turn it into multiple pieces is the type of efficiency you need in your small business marketing nowadays. Especially when the competing demands from a plethora of social media platforms increases the value you need to place on your time.
