I was just thinking this morning about the two most important tools in the growth of my solicitor’s practice since I qualified and started my practice in 2011.
I cannot separate them because there is an element of chicken and egg about them. But the two most instrumental tools or spheres of activity have been
- Blogging and
- Making videos
There is an element of chicken and egg for most of my videos have started out as blog posts. After writing the blog I would nearly always make a video on precisely the same topic or observation.
So, without the blogs there would be no videos. I suppose it is fair to say that the blogs are the starting points.
But the extended reach afforded by video in spreading my message on various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok has been immense in the acquisition of clients.
I cannot understand why others in a similar position to me starting out have not done something similar to grow their business. I have not seen much evidence of it, to be honest.
Perhaps there are professionals in different industries in Ireland who have done something similar and exploited the power of video. However, I have not come across too many.
Anyway, I am happy that I did stumble upon a type of marketing formula that has worked for me. I have explained and set out my strategy in my book, “The Art of Marketing Your Services Based Business Online…”
