I have written on more than one occasion about the power of video in the marketing and promotion arsenal of a small business like mine.
My business, and practices of other professionals, is much dependent on the personality and character of the individual lawyer or accountant or tax advisor or business consultant. Putative clients will need to relate to the individual behind the business as a person.
And there is no better way to build that trust with a potential client or customer than using video. Not polished, professional, high production video, but video that conveys something of the service provider’s personality and world view.
Building trust is not enough. Trust and likeability are of vital importance, too. And these characteristics can be developed and built with video.
It never ceases to amaze me that so few small guys and gals like me fail to exploit the power of video.
