Ignoring the phenomenon of TikTok would be a massive mistake for any small business owner

It has taken me over 10 years to get to 15,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel. But it has only taken 3 months to gain over 19,000 fans/followers on TikTok.

Yes, the quality of engagement and support between the different platforms is different. The fans/subscribers on YouTube are probably more committed and supportive of me and my work.

TikTok engagement is probably more transient, short lived, and ephemeral. But I truly believe it would be a big mistake to disregard and ignore TikTok.

Because I have already obtained a number of pieces of work from TikTok. And last week I got my first conveyancing client from TikTok: a man who has instructed me to sell his house for him.

My intention is to continue to pump out content for TikTok and ignore the large quantity of crap and feral behaviour, the pathetic, absurd, attention seeking, vain, bordering on pornographic content I see on there on a daily basis.

TikTok truly does contain the flotsam and jetsam of life. Warts and all. But failing to use it to its full powerful potential would be a dumb mistake for any business owner who wants to generate leads and clients and build another audience.

P.S. Here is my TikTok page.
