The mystery of unshakeable Trump support

I never cease to be amazed at the support Donald Trump can rely on from Ireland.

Commenters on my YouTube channel and Facebook page have made it clear that they are loyal Trump supporters, think he is “a great man”, and think the criminal indictment against him in Florida is politically motivated.

These supporters are prepared to overlook the fact that Trump thinks it is fun to grab women by the private parts, and that “they like it”.

They overlook the attempt to thwart to prevent the peaceful transition of power to Joe Biden after the last presidential election.

And they overlook the finding in a New York court that he sexually harassed the lady journalist who sued him in civil court.

I wonder do these supporters have sisters, daughters, mothers. How would they feel if Trump grabbed their loved one by the private parts?

And to cap it all Trump claims to be above the law as he has now claimed he will never be detained, regardless of the outcome of the criminal prosecution.

The only reasonable inference you can draw from this is Trump does not see the law as applicable to him.

And yet, he enjoys tremendous blind, ill informed, conspiracy fuelled support from Ireland.

Roll on the criminal trial.

Because the evidence against him as set out in the 44 page indictment can lead a jury to only one conclusion.
