Suspending an employee pending investigation

I published a blog post yesterday on EmploymentRightsIreland.com about a recent Supreme Court decision concerning the suspension of an employee pending an investigation.

This is an action that many employers take for granted and fail to see the potential pitfalls of getting it wrong. One of the most serious, costly outcomes is a High Court injunction application by the employee with costs being awarded against the employer.
