It would be easy, and a mistake, to be overly concerned and obsessed with certain marketing metrics-for example, viewing figures and subscribers on my YouTube channel.
I have found lately that I spend an unhealthy amount of time checking numbers and comments. I need to fight against this urge and developing habit.
Some of the videos I publish online will not be widely popular, will not generate a huge amount of approval and thumbs ups, and will not add new subscribers to my YouTube channel.
But the same videos could be tremendously effective in driving new business because they cover the specific topics that concern and agitate a small number of people.
Thus, I need to be careful about playing to the gallery and need to keep an eye on the prize.
