When I started this solicitor’s practice in 2013 every client had to be obtained from a blank sheet, de novo as it were.

This is the old way of acquiring clients for most solicitors’ practices, and it nice to see now.
But I started this practice over ten years ago.
So depending on recommendations alone would never have been a good enough strategy from the outset. I would have gone out of business quickly.
