I shouldn’t be surprised

I shouldn’t be surprised at this stage.

It’s probably a reflection of the way I was brought up when it came to telling the truth.

I can’ t understand people arranging consultations with me to get legal advice. Then the proceed to tell me only 50% of the story.

It happened again recently. The lady tells me what happened in the workplace, according to her, and I fired off a letter to her employer threatening all sorts and asking him what he was going to do about it.

It turns out what my client told me was nonsense, insofar as she told me only half the story. The witness produced told a completely different story.

If you are going to get legal advice from a solicitor, take my advice: tell your story, warts and all.

Everything.

Otherwise, you are wasting your time and money.
