I was slurping on an ice cream last night outside Gino’s Gelato shop on Shop Street in Galway when a guy came up to me and said, in a loud voice, “Terry Gorry”, and extended his hand to shake.
I did not know him but feared I should, so I responded in a friendly fashion and shook hands.
He said, “I follow you online, keep up the good work”.
I thanked him, he went on his way and I continued with the gelato.
The power of online never ceases to amaze me.
This is Shop Street, Galway on a Saturday night on the May bank holiday weekend.
