I published a short, vertical video on YouTube yesterday evening at around 9 pm. It was only about 50 seconds long and it was simply me baking sourdough bread at the weekend.
There were no words, no speaking but I got a nice piece of music from the free YouTube music library. All the music in that library can be used without any concerns about copyright breach.
This morning when I got up at 5 am and checked how the video was being received I discovered that it has over 1,200 views and 29 or so likes/thumbs ups.
Here is the video:
I get a real kick when I try something like this, and it works.
Nobody suggested trying this, I did not read about it anywhere. I just had an idea and implemented it.
As it was a vertical video, I can also share it on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat. But I will only share it on Facebook and Instagram at this time.
It sets me thinking about how I can use this, or a tweaked version of this tactic, in the future in my online marketing.
