You’d miss the club finals on Paddy’s Day

I watched the All-Ireland GAA club finals at some point in the last 3 months or so. I just can’t remember when.

But you would miss the club finals on St. Patrick’s Day.

For years, there was not much else happening save for parades of tractors and trailers and articulated lorries and vans in small villages and towns up and down the country.

And the hurling and football club finals. You always had them. I watched them on St. Patrick’s Day for as long as I can remember.

You’d miss them.
