The Law Society certificate in immigration law and practice

I am starting the Law Society certificate course in immigration law tomorrow and am looking forward to it.

It is the Certificate in Immigration Law and Practice so I am expecting it to provide a theoretical underpinning and understanding along with the practical knowledge to help individuals once the course is completed.

It runs for 11 or 12 sessions once a week until February 2024. In March 2024 I will have to submit a 2,500-word dissertation on some aspect of the course.

I intend providing immigration law services in 2024 and this sphere of activity will be a completely new area of law for my solicitor’s practice. I get quite a few enquiries about immigration law on account of my online marketing activity such as on my YouTube channel and elsewhere.

I hope I still have the interest and passion in legal study to give the course my full attention and get the most from it.

Here’s hoping.
