My attempts to create more relational type videos rather than strictly transactional videos is going well.
There appears to be a good interest in the day in the life type of video. And I do not believe that is a surprise as people have a great interest in the daily lives of others.
The explosion in the popularity of so called ‘reality tv’ over the last few decades illustrates this.
I know I may have lost some subscribers with this guarded, cautious transition. But that is fine. You can’t be all things to all people.
And I am satisfied with the direction my YouTube channel is going, heading, as it is, for 30,000 subscribers now.
But more importantly? I enjoy making the day in the life/vlog type of video.
When you enjoy your work it is no longer work.
