One minute videos-a valuable tool in any small business marketing arsenal

I am constantly trying to make my marketing efforts more efficient. And by more efficient I mean a greater return from the time spent on any particular activity.

I have recently discovered, by some simple experimentation, that resizing my one-minute vertical videos, originally made primarily for TikTok and Instagram Reels, to square videos has tremendous benefits for a small investment of time.

The square videos, lasting one minute or less, can be effectively shared on Facebook, Instagram Feed, LinkedIn, and Twitter. This size of video looks great on all these platforms with no black bars at the top or sides of the video and take up the maximum amount of real estate on the screen.

These one-minute videos need to contain at least one nugget of valuable information and should not require the viewer to leave the platform on which they are viewing.

Packing useful, valuable information into a one-minute time slot is not always easy, and some topics cannot be covered in this way for they need a longer period of time to unpack the subject matter of the video.

But an enormous amount of value over a wide range of topics can be packed into a one-minute video. And the return on time and effort from making them is massive as you can distribute on
