I reached 30,000 subscribers to my YouTube channel yesterday

I smashed through the 30,000 YouTube subscriber target yesterday.

My video about the army private, Cathal Crotty, who was handed a fully suspended three-year sentence for beating a young woman unconscious generated over 500 new subscribers for me.

Whether these subscribers are of any benefit to me or my channel is doubtful, to be frank.

And this video about a criminal sentence in an Irish court is my first such video. It may well be my last, too.

So, all those new subscribers will probably be disappointed when they see the new videos I publish on the channel and may unsubscribe. This video about the criminal sentence handed out was not typical of what I publish on my channel.

That’s fine, I am ready for it.

Because I will make the videos I want to make, cover the topics I want to cover, notwithstanding the obvious message to be gleaned if I was only concerned about growing my subscriber base.

Anyway, my book explains how I built my brand and channel online. You might find it useful.
