Enoch Burke’s written request to the Court of Appeal is mind boggling

I find it hard to believe.

But Orla O’Donnell, the RTE courts reporter, has reported it so I believe it to be true.

She reported yesterday that Enoch Burke wrote to the Court of Appeal asking it to reverse its decision in his appeal case against certain High Court orders.

Does he think that the Court of Appeal engage in some type of performative stunt and do not truly believe in the decisions they make?

Does he think the Judges will hand down three reasoned, consistent judgments in concurrence with each other one week and then, on receipt of a letter from Enoch Burke, a couple of weeks later reverse the decisions?

This written request from Burke appears to show a tenuous grasp on the reality of the situation, and how the law and the courts actually operate.
