I went up to Carbury Castle at the weekend to fly my drone and get some aerial video and photographs.
Carbury Castle is only about ten minutes from my home, so it was convenient to take a look at it. I was surprised to see that there is a graveyard just adjacent to the castle ruins, a graveyard I saw for the first time through the camera on my drone.
The view and perspective you have on certain things from a drone’s perspective is remarkable and it definitely adds a different dimension to how you actually view the world, both literally and figuratively.
Here’s the Wikipedia page for Carbury Castle which was built in the 13th century.
