I was at Bruce Springsteen last night in Croke Park and it is hard to believe he is 74 years old.
He is inspirational for a person of an age where retirement may be something to consider. Because watching belting out 50 years of rock and roll hits with love and passion with the energy of a 23 year old would encourage you to keep going, if you want to and have the choice.
And it struck me that he could not be doing it for the money as he must be more than comfortable as a result of his life’s work.
I am at an age where I might be thinking about retiring. I had no intention, to be honest, of retiring, however.
But after Springsteen last night? Not a hope.
