We have more shelving coming today to accommodate the growing number of files in the office.
In my office there is a table at which I meet clients and carry out face to face consultations.
But it is so laden with files at the moment that it is becoming embarrassing with a real danger that when I and the person who I am meeting sit down we will not actually see each other.
It is a good complaint, and reflective of the continuing growth in the practice over the last few years. Conveyancing files in particular, and they would contribute to most of the growth, can be especially large as they will contain a lot of paper including title documents and books of title, contracts, planning documents, and so forth.
It will not be too long before we run out of physical space in the office. But for now, we must make the best of what we have and utilise the space efficiently.
