A guy contacted me last week and told me he was a fan of my online content and suggested I make a video for trainee solicitors.
I could make one for those trainees whose intention is to start and run their own practice. But what I would be able to advise anyone hell bent on a career as a solicitor is much more problematic for me.
Because I did not pursue a conventional solicitor career and was out of a job as soon as I qualified and exited my apprenticeship.
I knew that this would be the outcome at the end of my traineeship and was ready for it, with no complaints.
This is a video topic I probably will address but the emphasis would be on running one’s own practice. Nevertheless, there are probably some universal principles I could share with those intending to carve out a career in somebody else’s practice.
