The argument against giving away information for free is that your intended audience, the recipient of that information, won’t have any need for your services.
It makes sense, right? Tell them what they need to do and they will do it and you are out of a job?
Wrong. Most people want you to do it for them.
So, telling them what to do and how to do it will often persuade people to contact you and say, “will you do it?”
It is counter-intuitive, yes.
But giving away content for free, in blog posts, articles, videos or podcast episodes is a strategy that works like gangbusters.
