We went out to Ostuni beach/Villanova and Bari yesterday.
The beach was nice and extremely quiet. However, we had to wait for a couple of hours for the bus to come back so we went to a local cafe and bought bottles of Peroni beer for €2 per bottle.
It is a long, long time since I bought beer for €2.
Then we took the train to Bari and had a potter about.
We came across the remarkable sight of women making and selling pasta in the streets, having set up at the back (or front) of their houses.
Bari has a nice mix of old and new with all the top international brands available in the newer part of Bari.
The older part contains centuries old streets and buildings, including Bari cathedral.
