When the question of working from home, or remote working as it is described nowadays, has cropped my initial response has always been that I would prefer to go to the office.
This week, due to Covid, I have been working from home.
And my original view has been confirmed. I am looking forward to getting back to the office.
Remote working is not for me, although it is a great option to have from time to time.
I miss the interaction with my colleagues, I miss the ringing phone, the hustle and bustle from the street through Enfield outside my office window, people walking in unannounced, and many other little things.
I’m looking forward to getting back.
