Donald Trump, faced with a litany of allegations of criminal behaviour contained in a 44 page indictment in the Florida legal system, continues to give interviews on television in which he admits to the crimes.
His most recent outing was in the interview referenced in this Lincoln Project video.
The very thing of which he is accused he freely admits to, thinking that an excuse will somehow provide a defence in his case.
It won’t. Possession of the documents and refusing to give them back when formally requested to do so, is enough to convict on certain of the charges.
Trump has often described certain individuals as “dumb as a rock”.
Trump is in danger of giving this expression new depth and breadth.
