The Trump criminal trial in New York commences this morning with opening statements in the case.
It will be fascinating and is expected to last for 6 to 8 weeks.
Two things I will be looking for over the course of the trial are
- Whether Trump testifies or not
- The impact on Trump’s mental health of being confined to one place for full court days for weeks in an environment over which he has no control
Trump’s hubris and narcissism will be big factors in determining the outcome of these two issues.
I can’t wait.
