Seasonal affective disorder (SAD)

Autumn is noticeably on the way now with the evenings closing in and a distinct chill in the air.

It is hard to remember how warm it was only last week and how difficult it was to get a good night’s sleep due to the oppressive temperatures. That was then, this is now.

There is something slightly depressing about the looming of winter, dark evenings and mornings, long nights.

Many people are affected so if it is a loved one of yours, keep an eye out and don’t be surprised.

It may be as natural as the seasons changing. A kind word or gesture won’t cost you much, and it may make a difference.
