Playing to the gallery

When I make videos I can play to the gallery, if I choose. But it is not the smartest approach for me or my business.

What I am referring to is making a video that I know, because it is about a ‘hot’ or topical issue, will generate a lot of views and comments. Multiples of the figures for my usual video about some legal or business matter.

I can also make a video which contains a nugget of useful information for the type of person I seek to serve.

This video will only generate a fraction of the views and comments of the hot one.

But is far more likely to bring in clients.

So, playing to the gallery is all very well. It has its place.

But when it comes to lead and client generation, I need to recognise I am indulging myself with such topical videos.
