When I am publishing videos online, on my YouTube channel and elsewhere, I have generally maintained a neutral stance and have simply reported what happened.
I seldom give my own opinion on a case for reasons set out in this video.
Lately, I have noticed more and more people looking for me to express my opinion and to share my thoughts on whatever it is I am discussing.
There are pros and cons to doing this and I am weighing it up carefully at the moment.
When I published this video explaining why I do not give my opinion many commenters agreed with me and said that was why they followed me and subscribed.
But perhaps there is another cohort of individuals who would follow me and subscribe to my channel if I did give a commentary, rather than an arid reporting of the facts.
It is something I will have to reconsider, I think.
