I don’t usually pay much attention to my podcast’s (the Irish Law and Small Business Podcast) analytics.
This morning, however, I noticed that I have had 150 consumption hours over the last 30 days, as well as 1,653 streams and 32 new followers.
The 150 hours statistic got my attention. Because to have the attention of listeners for 150 hours in a 30-day period is not to be undervalued.
Especially in a time when getting someone’s attention, even for a short period of time, is tremendously difficult.
1,653 streams over the last 30 days is pretty satisfying, too.
And the great thing is I do not have to spend much/any time building the podcast as I simply upload my existing video content straight to Spotify, after publishing it on YouTube first.
Spotify is proving to be a tremendously effective and efficient tool in building my brand and business online.
