Making a positive out of Covid

I have not had Covid until yesterday.

It is my first time and came as a bit of a shock as I was just getting ready to return to work in the office after a week of annual leave.

I was not looking forward to the pile up of things, files, letters etc. I had to review on my return. But I was looking forward to returning and getting back into the regular routine and shooting the breeze with the girls in the office.

Now I am unable to return for the foreseeable.

I am determined to make a positive of the bad luck: I am going to put to the test my ability to run my solicitor’s practice from home.

My preference would be to be in the office. But it would be good to confirm to myself that, if necessary, I can run my business from my home when necessary.

Let’s see how it goes.

I only tested positive last night so the emergency plan is in the formative stage and today is the first day.
