I am generating so many comments on so many platforms with some of my videos now that the best thing to do is ignore them. Good or bad, just ignore them.
You could get bogged down and distracted by negative comments, and falsely emboldened by positive, fawning ones, that the best strategy is probably to ignore them and keep putting out my content.
Remember that Seth Godin, years ago, turned off comments on his blog. I cannot remember his exact reasoning, although I must check it later today, but I think it was along the lines of the comments being a distraction.
I have good content to make and distribute. I have an opinion. It is my firm intention to continue to do that.
And if ignoring comments is advisable and/or necessary, that’s what I will do.
