Enoch Burke will be back in the High Court soon and will be asked if he is willing to undertake to abide by the High Court order regarding him trespassing on the school grounds of Wilson’s Hospital School.
Sooner or later, he will have to give that undertaking or he will be depending on the High Court to ignore its own order.
The High Court may well be willing to do that, and it has previously done so. The problem will be if Burke goes back to the school.
Then you can expect the school to go back to the High Court to have him jailed again.
Burke and his advisors will have to change tack, however. Because he is achieving nothing in Mountjoy jail.
And the strategy adopted from the outset has achieved what exactly?
Publicity? Yes.
Anything else? Not apparent.
He has had time for a rethink. Let’s see what happens.
