I discovered early in my career that many solicitors either liked conveyancing or hated it.
In fact, there seemed to be a divide between litigators and conveyancers with different skills, mindsets, and personalities required for each area of activity.
I have always liked conveyancing.
Assessing and sussing out the provenance-the title-to a particular property intersest can be straightforward.
Or it can be extremely challenging and complex, especially with a Registry of Deeds title which involves a chain of transactions going back many decades.
Some lawyers like this puzzle, some don’t.
I like it.
I understand now what “code is poetry” means when I read it every time I log into the back of my WordPress based website.
