I had a consultation this week with a client who made a couple of references to me making my ‘canal bank’ videos.
My canal bank videos are the ‘walk and talk’ videos I do at lunchtime down the Royal Canal bank in Enfield. They are simply ideas or observations I have made and I record them as I walk down the canal bank to clear my head after my lunch.
The fact that a client has made reference to them, together with their popularity with viewers online, cause me to believe I have found my own style of vlogging.
This has been completely accidental but something that is too good to pass up and allows me to develop my own style of walk and talk video which are not poor copies of what some successful YouTuber is doing.
It is very much mine, and I hope to develop it around the roads at home. Key to this is the Osmo Pocket 3 camera from DJI, but that is a topic for another day.
