Back to ground zero

I have employed many different individuals over the last 39 years and I have had a few (many) walk outs.

It sets you back to a ground zero mindset, with a bunker mentality. That is probably not the best or smartest response.

But there are times when you believe you have to draw a line and stand your ground when you believe you have done nothing wrong, or at least not done anything sufficient to cause the walkout.

Yes, none of us are perfect. But there are certain ground rules in the employer/employee relationship.

And travelling over those boundaries is inadvisable, in the long term.

So, it’s back to ground zero.
