Even if nobody reads this post, or anything on this blog, I still get a great deal of benefit from maintaining it and keeping it going.
I was considering yesterday whether I would quit or not.
I was noting that the written word nowadays does not hold much sway online, and video is the way to go to influence and build a brand.
I am doing video and enjoy it tremendously.
But I derive a great deal from having this space to go to each morning and mull over things, talk things through with myself, speculate, and try to get my thoughts in some type of order. And put it in writing.
There are other great benefits, too.
The bottom line is: I get far more from this site than merely the opportunity to publish stuff for public consumption and a little bit of juice from Twitter, where I share some of these posts.
If I was only to publish my posts ‘private’ it would still be worth my while to continue with TerryGorryWrites.com and show up every morning and make some observation.
Even if it is only to myself and I am the only reader.
