It’s not about you

One of the most common mistakes I see being made by the solo entrepreneur/small business owner is failing to understand that it is not about them, it is about the viewer/listener/reader/potential client.

They make a video or blog post or social media post, for example, and it is focused on them, their situation or their problem.

The average viewer or potential client does not care. He/she has his own problems.

The question is can you help her solve them?

Do you even understand his problems?

Your post/video fails to prove this because your video/post is about you, the small business owner, not about the guy/gal who you seek to serve.
