I have been self employed in different industries for 38 years or so. Industries like retail, property development, investment, law.
And one thing I’ve learned is there are 3 universal features or requirements common to all.
- Your attitude
- Your skill at negotiating
- Your communication skills
Attitude, combined with communication and negotiation skills, can be applied in virtually all industries or situations, and ensure great results.
It is only as you get older that you recognise their universality.
