The growth of video podcasting is a significant feature in my attempt to grow my podcast, the Irish Law and Small Business Podcast.
I discovered, whilst watching a couple of short videos on my mobile phone at Brindisi airport, that video podcasting gives an enormous advantage over the traditional audio podcast for two reasons:
- Spotify are actively encouraging video and video podcasts
- A video podcast allows you to chop your video up into smaller segments and distribute them on social media sites
The fact that I have a huge reserve of videos, and continue to make them, should give me a great opportunity to grow my podcast naturally and with an advantage over the straight audio offerings.
