I have published a couple of videos on my YouTube channel in the last 2 days and they could not be any different.
One is about an important Supreme Court decision from the UK in which the court defined ‘woman’. This is a matter of lifechanging significance for many.
One was about me walking down through my village of Broadford, Co. Kildare and heading up to the bog to share the most important lesson I have learned from a book about Cicero.
The vlog about heading to the bog has had 2,100 views and 109 likes (98.2%)
The video about the UK Supreme Court decision has had 2,190 views and 134 likes (95%).
But the UK Supreme Court decision video has been up twice as long-2 days rather than 1.
These stats are incredibly satisfying because it is the first time I have made a ‘walk and talk’ vlog which has performed as well, or better, than a video about a serious, topical legal issue.
I will be watching the analytics for this video closely as the data is fed through over time by YouTube.
Guess which video I enjoy making more?
