My videos on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and elsewhere generate a huge amount of comments.
Most of the comments are genuine insofar as they are an expression of opinion on the topic I have covered in the video. Whether the opinions agree with mine or not, I don’t care, quite frankly.
However, a small minority of comments are not about the topic or subject matter of the video but are gratuitously insulting to me.
These comments I simply delete and have no apology to make about this.
The vast majority of these commenters actually have a hidden motive or rationale.
They are unhappy with the content of the video, for example a decision against a person they support.
But express their disappointment and frustration by making comments about me rather than the decision made against their ‘hero’.
And I am not having it.
I simply delete the comment.
And repeat offenders posting insulting comments?
I simply block them.
Life is too short.
