In this case involving a residential landlord who happens to be a solicitor, and a tenant who alleges an illegal eviction, the judge advised the parties that they would regret their decision to let the case run for 4 days in the High Court.
The tenant alleged the landlord showed up with a hammer and used threats of physical violence to get the tenant out.
The landlord denies these claims and said his reputation was being damaged by such claims.
Both parties eventually agreed to further mediation.
