Becoming inured to the bigotry and bile

I am never surprised nowadays about some of the hate, bile, bigotry, anti-diluvian, knuckle dragging comments I received on my YouTube and TikTok videos.

It’s sad, though.

And the saddest part is that I am becoming inured to it and expect them.

For example, I recently made and published a video about two traveller boys who wanted to join their local soccer club, Wayside Celtic.

Comments under the video on YouTube and TikTok refer to them as “tinkers”, “gyppos”, and so on.

Depressing stuff in 2024.
