The most satisfying thing about the growth of my podcast, the Irish Law and Small Business Podcast, is it is created entirely from repurposed content. In other words, videos I have already made for other purposes, such as my YouTube channel and other social media sites.
I have no unique content on the Irish Law and Small Business Podcast, therefore. Yet it is growing at a most satisfying rate without any need for promotion or advertising or time and effort.
And it is growing new audiences for me and my solicitor’s practice on platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
On Spotify, for example, the podcast has 1,006 followers and each episode has an average audience of 82 or 83 listens. Bearing in mind that there are now 382 episodes, it is a an excellent return on the time it takes me to simply upload an existing video of mine which I have just uploaded to my YouTube channel.
